Wreck Capital of the Atlantic
Bermuda is known far and wide as the wreck capital of the Atlantic, and it's no wonder why. With a whopping 300 wreck sites waiting to be explored, divers are in for a treat. In fact, Scuba Diving Magazine even ranked Bermuda as the second-best destination for wreck diving in the Caribbean and Atlantic regions. If you're looking for a thrilling adventure, there's no shortage of haunted shipwrecks to discover. Take a look at The Travel's article on the 10 most 'Haunted Shipwrecks' or dive into Scubaverse's article on Bermuda's 'Spookiest Wrecks'. And if you're still hungry for more, don't forget to flip through the pages of The Islander, where you can find an exciting feature on wreck diving on pages 36-37. A short boat trip from the marina will reveal a treasure trove of intact and historic wreck sites dotting the shoreline. Dive into crystal clear waters that range from 30 to 70 feet deep, and immerse yourself in the captivating world beneath the surface. Bermuda truly offers a diver's paradise like no other.
